1. The Champlain Society digital collections
   The site has copies of all the major primary sources relating to the period of first contact. The key works are:

2. 76 volumes of translations of the Jesuit Relations at the National Library of Canada.
   They are yearly reports from Jesuits in New France recounting their experiences. Volumes one though ten deal with the years when Champlain was active in New France. You can search the site by key words and topics.
